Halster touwen
Een halstertouw wordt bevestigd aan de onderste ring van het halster en is bedoeld om het paard of pony te leiden. Een halstertouw is voorzien van een paniekhaak of een karabijnhaak. Er zijn speciale halstertouwen met lussen of alternatieve uitvoeringen. Van belang is dat het metaal van de haak stevig genoeg is en het touw naast soepel (er moeten knopen in kunnen worden gelegd) ook stevige grip bied en bij doorslippen door de hand niet brand.
